Facial Botox
Overview
Facial botox addresses the forehead, the glabella (frown lines) and the crow’s feet area together, and is by far the most requested botulinum toxin treatment. By temporarily reducing excessive contraction of the mimic muscles it prevents dynamic wrinkles from deepening.
At LIZYCLINIC an expression analysis is performed beforehand and a separate dose is defined for each muscle group. The goal is never to eliminate movement, but to soften lines while preserving expression — so a frozen look simply does not occur.

Examination & expression analysis
Your physician assesses muscle strength, expression habits and symmetry, and takes a photographic record.

Building your dose map
Injection points and the number of units required for each muscle are decided together with you.

The treatment
After topical anaesthetic cream, the treatment is completed with ultra-fine insulin needles.

Day-10 review
We assess the result together and perform a complimentary touch-up if there is any asymmetry or under-correction.
Aftercare
- Do not lie down or bend your head forward for the first 4 hours.
- Do not massage or rub the treated area for 24 hours.
- Avoid sport, sauna, steam rooms and sunbeds for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication for 48 hours (consult your doctor).
- Make-up may be applied after 6 hours; avoid pressing on the skin.
Before & after
Frequently Asked Questions
The needles used are thinner than insulin needles. Most patients describe only a mild ant-bite sensation. Topical anaesthetic cream is available on request.
Correctly dosed botox does not stop movement completely. Our conservative dosing approach preserves your expression and only softens the lines.
