Botulinum toxin has been used in medicine for over 30 years and is one of the most studied molecules available. Applied by a specialist physician, with original product and correct dosing, its safety profile is excellent. All products used in our clinic are Ministry of Health approved and verified by data-matrix code.

How long does the effect last?

On average 4–6 months, depending on the area and dose. For masseter and sweating treatments it can extend to 6–9 months. With regular repetition the muscle weakens, so the effect often lasts longer over time.

Who should not have botox?

It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for patients with neuromuscular disorders (such as myasthenia gravis or ALS), for those with an active infection at the injection site, or with an allergy to the product components. A detailed medical history is taken at the examination.

When can I return to work?

The same day. Small red bumps disappear within 20–30 minutes. You only need to avoid lying down for the first 4 hours and exercise for the first 24 hours.

Botox is a purified protein called botulinum toxin type A, injected into the muscle in very small doses. It temporarily reduces the signal between nerve and muscle, preventing excessive contraction — so expression lines soften.
