Facial Botox
Overview
A gummy smile means more than 3 mm of gum is visible when smiling, because the upper lip rises too far. It is usually caused by over-activity of the muscles that elevate the upper lip.
Botulinum toxin applied in very small doses gently limits the movement of these muscles and reduces how far the lip lifts. The treatment takes five minutes and avoids any surgical intervention.

After topical anaesthetic cream, the treatment is completed with ultra-fine insulin needles.

Day-10 review
We assess the result together and perform a complimentary touch-up if there is any asymmetry or under-correction.
Aftercare
- Do not lie down or bend your head forward for the first 4 hours.
- Do not massage or rub the treated area for 24 hours.
- Avoid sport, sauna, steam rooms and sunbeds for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication for 48 hours (consult your doctor).
- Make-up may be applied after 6 hours; avoid pressing on the skin.

The dose is very small and highly targeted. Applied correctly, only the excessive lift of the lip is limited and the smile stays natural.
A mild feeling of tightness may occur in the first few days; speech and eating are not affected.
